Find Draft Containing

Description

Doctor Drafts allows you to search for draft content, select a matching draft that contains the searched for text, and then directly open that draft in Drafts. As you search for a matching draft, Alfred’s selection list will display the title of the draft along with its created and last modified dates.

Steps

  1. Trigger Alfred.
  2. Type in drfind followed by a space.
  3. Type in the text you want to search draft content for to filter the list of matching drafts.
  4. Select the matching draft that you wish to open in Drafts.
  5. Press return.

Notes

  • Holding down ^ while pressing return (or clicking on the matching draft in the list) will copy the URL for the draft instead of opening it in Drafts. This is effectively another way to trigger the Copy Draft URL action.
  • Holding down ⇧^ while pressing return (or clicking on the matching draft in the list) will copy the redirect web URL for the draft instead of opening it in Drafts. This is effectively another way to trigger the Copy Draft Redirect URL action.
  • Holding down while pressing return (or clicking on the matching draft in the list) will copy the content for the draft instead of opening it in Drafts. This is effectively another way to trigger the Copy Draft Content action.
  • Holding down while pressing return will trigger the additional option to select and run an action against the new draft.

Find Draft Titled

Description

Doctor Drafts allows you to search for draft title matches, select a matching draft that contains the searched for text in the title, and then directly open that draft in Drafts. As you search for a matching draft, Alfred’s selection list will display the title of the draft along with its created and last modified dates.

Steps

  1. Trigger Alfred.
  2. Type in drtitle followed by a space.
  3. Type in the text you want to search draft titles for to filter the list of matching drafts.
  4. Select the matching draft that you wish to open in Drafts.
  5. Press return.

Notes

  • Holding down ^ while pressing return (or clicking on the matching draft in the list) will copy the URL for the draft instead of opening it in Drafts. This is effectively another way to trigger the Copy Draft URL action.

Description

Doctor Drafts allows you to open Drafts with a populated search by triggering this action with the text to search for.

Steps

  1. Trigger Alfred.
  2. Type in drsearch followed by a space.
  3. Type in the text you want to populate Drafts’ search field with.
  4. Press return.

Description

Doctor Drafts allows you to open Drafts with a populated quick search by triggering this action with the text to search for.

Steps

  1. Trigger Alfred.
  2. Type in drqsearch followed by a space.
  3. Type in the text you want to populate Drafts’ quick search with.
  4. Press return.

Action Search Drafts

Description

Doctor Drafts allows you to open Drafts with a populated Drafts action search by triggering this action with the text to search for.

Steps

  1. Trigger Alfred.
  2. Type in dractionsearch followed by a space.
  3. Type in the text you want to populate Drafts’ action search field with.
  4. Press return.
